Normally, the temperatures in the south of tenerife range between 25 and 30degrees in august, except, they have this strong wind from africa ( called calima ) , then temperature rise up to 40 degrees and more for some days ( 2-4 days ).
Watertemperature is about 23-24 degrees .
In my opinion, las islas canarias are a good place to stay in summer, as the climate is more pleasant than in the mediterrenean area.
