Aruba Vacation Tips – Top 3 Things to See
Although it is difficult to narrow down the list to just three things to see in Aruba, it can be done. This is because there is so much this Caribbean island has to offer other than white sandy beaches and gorgeous weather. If you have to see just a few things during your stay in Aruba, there are the top 3 things to see. Not seeing these wonders will make your vacation incomplete. These are the Natural Bridge, the Natural Pool and Spelunking, which is another term for caving. The reason these are great sights to see is because they all are natural to the island.
When people go on vacation, they always want to look for the things to see in the area. When it comes to Aruba, one of those things to see is the Natural Bridge. When you are in Aruba, you might hear people calling it the New Natural Bridge. That is because the original one was destroyed in 2005 because of waves.
The reason it is on the top 3 things to see list is because it is so interesting to see a natural bridge. When most people think of bridges, they think of man-made structures. Although you cannot see the original bridge that stood over 25 feet, there are plenty of smaller natural bridges that will give you a great picture.
Another thing on the top 3 things to see list in Aruba is the Natural Pool. It is called the Cura di Tortuga and was created by rock formations, as well as hardened lava. The great thing about the natural pool is that you actually can swim in it. This is a gathering spot for people who like to look at the ocean but do not really feel safe swimming in such an open place. Most tourists get to the pool either on horseback or with rented ATVs.
The reason that spelunking, or caving, is on the top 3 things to see list is because the caves in Aruba are so spectacular.
If you never have been in a cave before, Aruba is the place to see them. There are huge rock formations that can reach 100 feet deep. This is because of the waves over time. These have been in Aruba for thousands of years, so you would be experiencing history.

Millions of people can’t be wrong! And every year, tens of millions of tourists flock to Orlando Florida to enjoy the world’s best theme parks. But Orlando’s more than just Disney and theme parks, the city is loaded with incredible restaurants, luxury resorts, and remarkable historic sites. When you plan your Orlando getaway, you won’t miss a thing if you follow a few of these simple guidelines.
First, Come Prepared.
Orlando is renowned for its warm sunshine most of the year, but get a weather forecast for the exact dates that you plan to visit. You may need a light jacket, some rain gear or a ton of sunscreen depending the time of the year that you visit. In addition to the standard vacation stuff (toiletries, bathing suits, cameras, and personal medications), be sure to include the less remembered, but just as needed, things (a travel guide, insurance cards, a first aid kit, and an up-to-date GPS if you plan on driving).
Second, Think Strategically about Where to Stay.
Orlando has hotels and motels to fit every budget, from economy to truly luxurious 5 star resorts. The most popular hotels are Disney’s two most famous hotels (the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and the Animal Kingdom Lodge), but you can probably find a local hotel to match the brand on your hotel loyalty card. The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, The Westin Grand Bohemian, JW Marriott Orlando, Royal Pacific Resort, Villas of Grand Cypress, Grande Lakes, The Portofino Bay Hotel, and the Celebration Hotel have consistently ranked very well among visitors.
Third, Go Have All the Fun that You Can.
Kids of all ages will insist on seeing Disney World, and you should expect to spend 2 or 3 days at the expansive Disney parks, you can usually get a better deal by purchasing a 2 or 3 day all inclusive park pass or family pack. The next stop for most people is SeaWorld and perhaps Gatorland where the animals are the main attraction. Teenagers and adventurers will almost certainly want to experience the excitement of Universal Studios.
To make the most of a romantic evening at the parks, check out Downtown Disney’s Pleasure Island or Busch Gardens. For science and technology types, the Kennedy Space Center is the crème de crème, followed closely by the Orlando Science Center. For action or scenic beautiful, zip off to Fun Spot Action Park, Silver Springs, the Orange Tree Golf Club, and Wonderworks. For the golfers, there are ton of world class courses located within the Orlando area.
Fourth, Indulge Your Taste Buds
It’s not a vacation without great restaurants and eateries! So complete the experience with food to remember. Enjoy familiar American foods or experience classic Asian or European dishes. Whatever you like to munch on, gobble down, or savor is here for the asking. Delight yourself at restaurants like the Crave, Hilton Bonnet Creek Restaurants, Texas de Brazil, Jack’s Place Restaurant, Oceanaire Restaurant, and Bergamo’s.

Question by tulipeliza: Concerned about weather in Orlando, Fl for my vacation?
I’m planning to go on vacation to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure/Wet N Wild in Orlando, Florida this month from the 24th to the 29th. I’m concerned about the weather, though, since the possibility of rain would ruin the vacation. I’m scared that they’ll close down the parks if it rains. Does this happen? Is there any way I can look up the weather forecast for May 24- May 29? What should I do?
Thank you!

Go to weather.com and put in Orlando, Florida. Usually it’s a 7-day forecast so you should probably look around May 17th. I’m also going on a class trip to Islands of adventure May 19th! I can’t wait!!! It’s usually sunny here but when it rains it’s usually for 5 mins or so then stops and it’s not heavy. Even if it does rain they won’t close the parks. (There are wet rides

Tips for Driving In Snow
Article by Bunmi Adewoyin
Do you know how to drive during horrible weather conditions? Driving in snow can involve some hazardous situations; from the increased hours of darkness to the snow sleet and ice, one cannot be too cautious. A few minutes planning and thinking ahead will definitely prevent disasters especially in harsh winter conditions. We are usually aware of bad weather forecasts or when bad weather conditions are predicted but only about half of the road users bother with proper precautions according to the highways agency.
According to statistics a lot of road users still drive during bad weather conditions, this makes it more important to enlighten people about the dangers of driving in the snow and how they can prevent any disasters by planning ahead. The ability of your vehicle tyres to grip the road is extremely reduced when it is filled with ice or snow this makes mundane tasks like slowing down, speeding up and changing direction dangerous/hazardous, so drivers need to be aware of this and be careful. If you have a vehicle that has cruise control, avoid using it when driving on slippery and icy roads.
The importance of having a winter weather kit and checking the weather forecast before starting a journey cannot be over-emphasized; one cannot predict what could go wrong when driving on a snowy road. Having a winter weather kit could save your life. Your winter weather kit can include jumper cables, electric flares, warming clothing and footwear, a first aid kit, candles and a lighter and energy foods and drinks.
Drivers who expect to be driving during winter should not only prepare their cars but also prepare themselves. Ensure that your car has been recently serviced, with all parts of the car functioning properly like ensuring your engine has anti-freeze and your fuel tank and washer fluid are topped up. Having some extra warm clothes in the car is definitely a must especially when travelling long distances. Also winter tyres or snow tyres should be considered as they help improve traction when starting and stopping your car.
Four-wheel drives are highly recommended for winter, the extra traction provided by having a car with all four wheels working together could help avoid those life threatening moments that can occur when driving in snow. Obviously not everyone has one or can afford one but if you run a business that requires you travelling a lot during the snowy period you might want to consider buying or even leasing one, there are a lot of leasing companies out there now who offer both short-term and long-term lease deals on four-wheel drives.
We all know how unpredictable the British weather is; if you have no choice but to drive during winter ensure that you are prepared in every way possible for the bad weather conditions.
Car leasing made simple• is a trading name of Automotive Finance and Leasing (UK) Ltd (established in 1997) and is an independent intermediary dealing with selected car leasing companies. We are one of the UK’s leading providers of new car leasing deals to both businesses and private individuals.
